Mr. Rexford M. Vroman, 68, of 210 N. Martin St., Titusville passed away at 5:30 PM on Thursday, January 4, 2018, surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Mr. Vroman was born on November 14, 1949, in Titusville to the late Mantford and Madora Martin Vroman. He married Sandra E. Murphy on June 6, 1998, at the Enterprise United Methodist Church.
He was a veteran of the US Army.
Rex was formerly employed as an electrician with G.E. in Erie.
He was a lifetime member of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW, a 50 year member of the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion, and a member of the former Titusville PNA Club.
Rex enjoyed watching NASCAR and his favorite driver Jeff Gordon.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Vroman of Titusville; 5 children, Teresa Warner of Titusville, Julie Walters and fiancé Rich Elslager of Titusville, Stephen Vroman and wife Lynn of Cresco, PA, Crystal Vroman of Franklin, Kristopher Pratt of Titusville, Brandi Bernard of Centerville; 3 brothers, John Vroman of Titusville, Michael Vroman of Leavenworth, KS, Jeffrey Vroman of Wasilla, AK; 3 sisters, Rebecca Edwards and husband Doug of Enterprise, Diane Abrams of Titusville, Deborah Vroman of SC; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben and Arlene Murphy of Townville; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Rex was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Vroman, a son-in-law, Bruce Warner, and 2 sisters, Linda Johnson and Gayle Brickner.
A celebration of Rex’s life will take place at the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion on Saturday, January 13th at 1:00 PM.
